Although primarily a children’s book Up Above Down Below is a bright, action packed story that will appeal to anyone.
All you need to do
to embark on an incredible adventure is open the cover and turn to the first page...
Set in present day County Down, Up Above Down Below explores an amazing world that exists just beyond the field of people’s vision.
The next time you venture out on a misty autumn morning when your eyes strain to see ahead, look out for a
flash of colour in the sky that might, perhaps, be just a trick of the light....
A big thank you to The John Hewitt Bar for hosting a selection of dragon illustrations for the month of January, the exhibition created a lot of interest and some interesting contacts were made that may lead to other projects.
For the month of February The Wicker Man, High Street, Belfast will host a new selection of the original artwork from Up Above Down Below. The Wicker Man prides itself on showcasing the best of Irish and Celtic Design Crafts and we are very pleased to have our exhibition hosted by them. If you haven't yet had a chance to view these original paintings take the opportunity to view them in the calm and welcoming environment of The Wicker Man www.thewickerman.co.uk
Up Above Down Below: Book Review

"This book is one of the best books I have ever read. A brilliant story of friendship and adventure. The pictures are amazing and the characters are wonderful. The main characters are Ember, Scorch, Spook and Spike, four dragon friends. The Set is in Co. Down in the Mourne Mountains.
My favourite part is when the four friends have to decide either to stay in Crom City (under the mountain) or to go to the human world. They decide to go to the human world where many adventures await them."
